Woah, you guys. You made it here to read a story. A story about Rowan & Jodie’s love for each other. And heck, I finally blogged. It’s not my strongest forte, but I do love reminiscing a great love story that I got to be a part of 💕
These two have two beautiful kids together, Kiarah & Nathaniel.
These four rad humans spent the days pre and post wedding with their nearest and dearest friends and family at Flaxton Manor. A huge mansion that had room enough for 12 families. Well not really, but there were rooms everywhere!
These guys spent the night before and the morning of their wedding together, not traditionally apart. It just makes sense to do it this way, doesn’t it?
So, Kiarah & I share something in common, we both have the same nickname, Kiki; and ALL day I kept hearing “Kiki!”….”Kiki!” “Kiki, what are you doing?”, “Kiki, don’t touch that”… I thought they were talking to Kiarah, when they were actually talking to me… Haha, got you. But I was caught off guard every time I heard it!
Rowan and the boys got ready with little Nate, while Jodie and the girls were ready with Kiki. These moments are my fav.
So it started out as a pretty beautiful morning, 9am in Montville, a few low clouds around. Then 11am and a HUGE thunderstorm rolled through, picture dark grey clouds heading straight for you, fog so you can’t see down the road and the green’s of the tree’s just glowing. Well Jodie was just delighted, and I mean, this is when she truly started to get excited for the day. This rainy, misty weather was exactly what she was hoping for. When Rowan and herself went to Flaxton Garden’s the first time, it was in this kind of weather. To them, the fog and low clouds were just magical and greatly helped choosing Flaxton Garden’s as their Venue.
It was indeed pretty magical.
And that car was pretty magical too, wait till you see that piece of metal!
Anyway, I get pretty mushy at weddings. I cry like a baby. When the doors opened and Jodie was standing at the end of the aisle, yeah, I cried. Then I look at Rowan, staring back at Jodie and I cry some more. Ughh. Lucky I have a camera in front of my face most of the time so no one see’s.
It was a beautiful Ceremony; Rowan gave his ‘wing’ to Jodie, Jodie couldn’t articulate her vows, and then Rowan had another speech mishap when saying ‘I Do’ but looking at Natasha instead of Jodie. I’m glad I got those reactions captured so everyone has some enjoyable recollections of the celebration!
Then of course, food and party came and we snuck out for a night time photo to end the night when all the rain and clouds disappeared for a beautiful portrait.
Enjoy the read and viewing some sneak peeks, loves; and remember to share and leave a comment for the couple to read!
